Where Dreams May Come
Per la prima volta in Italia, le immagini sognanti di Natalie Karpushenko sono esposte come simbolo del legame dell’umanità con la Natura. Nelle sue immagini si può percepire la bellezza catturata nella sua forma più distillata: luce naturale, linee semplici, proporzioni mirate e un’ampia gamma di soggetti in cui gli esseri umani, il mare e gli animali sono rappresentati in fluida armonia.
Appassionata del benessere del pianeta e della salute degli oceani, Natalie usa le sue abilità di apnea per illuminare la bellezza, la profondità e la potenza del mare e ispirare un consumo attento e aumentare la consapevolezza ambientale.

Artista, fotografa e ambientalista, Natalie Karpushenko, nata in Kazakistan, ha iniziato a lavorare come fotografa all’età di 18 anni. Karpushenko ha viaggiato in molte città e, dall’incontro con culture diverse, ha gradualmente capito quali erano i suoi interessi e ha stabilito così la sua pratica artistica.
Durante i suoi viaggi, ha scoperto due muse principali: Madre Natura, in particolare l’elemento acqua, e la figura umana. Come risultato del suo amore per la combinazione di questi due elementi, il processo artistico di Natalie è una miscela di intenzione, intuizione e magia. Il vero soggetto delle sue foto è spesso metaforico poiché cattura l’unione dell’umano nella natura e della natura nell'umano.
​For the first time in Italy, Natalie Karpuschenko’s dreamy images are exhibited as a symbol of humanity’s connection with Nature. In her images, you can see the captured beauty in its most distilled form: natural light, simple lines, purposeful scaling, and a wide range of subjects where humans, the sea and animals are represented in fluid harmony.
Passionate about the well-being of the planet and the health of the oceans, Natalie uses her freediving skills to illuminate the beauty, depth, and power of the sea to inspire conscious consumption and raise environmental awareness.

Artist, photographer and environmentalist, Natalie Karpushenko, born in Kazakhstan, began working as a photographer at the age of 18. Karpuschenko traveled to many cities, and by encountering an array of cultures and environments, she gradually understood what her interests were, and established her artistic practice.
During her travels, she discovered two main muses: Mother Nature, especially the element of water, and the human figure. As a result of her love for combining the two, Natalie’s artistic process is a blend of intention, intuition and magic. The true subject of her photos is often metaphorical as she captures the union of the human within nature and nature within the human.
